Two Arcs Of Light

On a crossroad they stood, two arcs of light
Bending and twisting in a series of flight
Mock-racing and stopping, time and again
None to race on, none to play feign

One waited for one, yet none dared to move
Time stood still, holding its groove
The playfulness went, and came back again
None to move on, none to play feign

Uneasiness crept as beads of sweat
If only they knew how warm it felt
A flick of the switch, and a pall so tame
No need to race on, none left to feign.

  1. I could actually imagine the two arcs of light in my head in the first verse...picturesque :) like always!! is it correlated with fading love nati??? I somehow could correlate the two...but i guess you can draw a lot of meanings out of it hai?
Well written :)...I like the last line...No need to race on, none left to feign...so true...the race is but your own...and the real you is all that matters in the end..
