The bugle blows... but is it victory?
Life turns in an instant, don't it?
One moment you're all happy and smiling - everything is going just the way you wanted. You have a good job, a beautiful caring girl, great friends. Family's good, professional life is amazing! Life looks all set and you would probably even have indulged in the rather extravagant act of day dreaming, thinking about your bright and sunny future...
And in comes the dark side. The flip side. The other side of the coin.
You introspect and you find yourself faced with more questions and not enough answers.
You always wanted to start a business of your own - what are you doing in a 9-to-5 job?
You always wanted to be single till you were ready - are you really in love?
Your best friends in college didn't invite you to their engagement - were they really that busy?
Aah... the endless queries of life!
But lose not hope - all it takes is for you to look a little further inside. Probably a little deeper than the place from where you got the questions that left you stumped... Look for gladness there, look for satisfaction. Wants will never end, needs need to be looked after. The past shapes the present, but the present decides the future. Life probably will never give you a second chance to rectify your past, but the power to liven up your future is a chance worth not squandering. Once you realize that, all your questions will be put to rest.
And probably then you can truly enjoy the day dreaming that once seemed so extravagant...
